Registration is now open to follow the congress online

This edition of the congress will also be accessible online in webinar mode on the Zoom platform. 
It will be possible to follow plenary and parallel sessions. Simultaneous translations are available as indicated in the program for each session.

Registration for online participation is open from 12 September to 11 October 2023.

The link to log in will be sent 24 hours and then 1 hour before the start of the session to the email address indicated in the registration form.

It is possible to register as an individual or as an organisation.
A contribution is required for online participation:
Individual - Full program (4 days): 120 EUR
Organisation - Full program (4 days): 200 EUR
Individual and organisation - 1-day full program (19 or 21 Oct): 80 EUR
Individual and organisation - half-day program (20 or 22 Oct): 50 EUR

Full Registration includes attendance to all Plenary Sessions, Parallel Sessions and Workshops, Welcome Reception, Opening and Closing ceremonies, morning & afternoon breaks and the congress kit.

1-day Registration is only available for October Thursady 19, Friday 20 and Saturday 21, 2023 and includes one day attendance to Plenary Sessions, Parallel Sessions and Workshops, coffee breaks and the congress kit.

Special conditions are offered to young people, researchers/students and participants from developing countries (see below).

Special conditions are reserved for the citizens of Lignano Sabbiadoro: they can participate in the congress with the same conditions as IFOTES members.

Online registrations will close on 30 September 30 2023. After that date, only onsite registration will be possible.

How to register

INDIVIDUALS: must register through the online form. Payment can be made by bank transfer (not later than 10 days after online registration) or by credit card. 

GROUPS: registrations for more than one person paid by a single third party (e.g. their organization) will be processed as group registrations. The organization shall contact the congress secretariat by email (registration@ifotes.org) to receive specific instructions. To avoid multiple registration, group participants must not register online: they should wait to receive their User ID and password. Group registrations are to be paid by bank transfer only.

Terms and conditions

• Congress participants must be registered.
• Registrations will be processed on a “first come-first served” basis and confirmed on payment only.
• A User Profile (User ID and password) shall be generated by filling-in an online form, thus allowing users to further access to their Congress Account at any time and later make their choices (program, cultural offer, additional services).
• The online form will initially enable “Registration” only. Later it will be updated with other relevant sections (Parallel Sessions, Workshops, Social and Cultural Activities). Please note that registration to the congress is mandatory in order to book further activities.
• Early registration is recommended to secure participation. The “Early Bird” fee applies up to 30 June 2023. After this date the regular fee will be applied. It will also be possible to register on site, with a small cost increase. 
• Accompanying persons do not need to register if they just access to the cultural activities and room-share with a congress participant. They are not entitled to attend any session but will be permitted some restricted access to the main congress venue (limited to the on-site Congress Secretariat area).
• Any person not wearing the Congress Badge will be refused access to all Scientific Session rooms/venues (Plenary/Parallel Sessions, Workshops).

• Registration for lecturers, chairs, testimonials, congress Steering Committee members and congress Scientific Committee members will be processed directly by the congress secretariat.
• Contribution for participation in the congress includes € 10,00 subscription for 2023 membership to ARTESS - Association for Research and Training on Emotional Support Skills (Local Organiser).  Statutes of ARTESS  and Privacy policy

Cancellation policy

If registrations to the congress are cancelled by 18 July 2023 the participation fee will be refunded, subject to the deduction of an administrative charge of 20% of the paid fees per person. 
After 18 July 2023 no refund will be possible. However, changes of names are possible, with an administrative charge of € 10.- per registration. 
No refund can be made in the event of non-participation or earlier departure. 
Cancellations and name changes must be made in writing to registration@ifotes.org.

Bursaries for participants of Ukrainian helplines

IFOTES Europe supports the participation of helpline operators and volunteers who are part of the Ukrainian helplines.

Bursaries for students and young researchers

A certain number of bursaries will be made available for the participation of students and young researchers in the field of suicide prevention and emotional health. 
An application endorsed by the home university must be submitted.
